The last two months of the year feature two important holidays, Thanksgiving and Christmas. These holidays remind us to give thanks to God and honor him for every good and perfect gift that we enjoy (Rom 1:21; Jas 1:17). We should most be thankful for Jesus Christ, and as November gives way to December, we begin to anticipate the yearly celebration of his birth. What a wondrous mystery, that Almighty God would humble Himself and be born as a helpless baby. Even more amazing is that Jesus was born to die for our sins and then to be raised again forevermore. Join us at Friendship Baptist Church to express thanks to God and to experience the miracle of Christmas!
