Friendship Baptist Church was founded in 1963 in Harveysburg, Ohio, by a group of godly men and women who longed to advance the kingdom of God among their neighbors. God has been faithful since then to use the members of Friendship Baptist Church to spread the good news about Jesus in our surrounding area. He has graciously given seasons not only of physical growth but also spiritual growth. Two decades into the twenty-first century, we continue to seek not only to be a positive influence to those around us who are still without hope and without God in the world but also to spur each other on to growth in Christlikeness.
As a Southern Baptist Church, we are united around a common allegiance to the Bible as God’s Holy Word. As a church, we uphold The Baptist Faith and Message as our statement of faith. We are also affiliated with the Cincinnati Area Baptist Association and the State Convention of Baptists in Ohio. As Southern Baptists, we gladly support missionaries in Ohio, the United States, and around the world.
As Friendship Baptist Church, our mission is to exalt the Savior, evangelize everyone, and equip the saints for the work of ministry. We exalt the Lord Jesus Christ by biblical praise and worship. We evangelize everyone through local outreach and global missions. We equip Christians for ministry through Bible study, discipleship, and Christian accountability.
